Which one is better? personal computer or a laptop

Since 1990, the advent of the personal computer has changed our way of living. Some people declare they prefer to use desktop computers at home, at the workplace, and at university. However, in my viewpoint, I am plump about having a laptop rather than a desktop computer for the following three reasons.

To begin, laptops are lightweight devices proportional to desktop ones. Since I can carry it wherever I want, this is my choice. For example, last year, I had just a desktop computer in my room, and I must do my research projects only there. But today, I have bought a magnificent ASUS laptop that I can bring to college classes and conferences conveniently. Also, it is lightweight equipment for me to put in my backpack while eating launch or chilling at the park.

Next, memory and internal storage are crucial characteristics for me to select a laptop. For instance, last week, Professor Boroumand assigned a simulation project which needed a sufficient amount of random-access memory and central processing unit capacity to run it with my laptop. Therefore, I could not conduct the assignment successfully if I had not had a quick configuration setup. Best of all, with the new solid-state drives, the calculation process time has decreased strikingly. As you can see, the importance of speed is undeniable to me.

Finally, I can install games and multimedia application software more commodiously. Whereas desktop computers are outdated and have limited capability to render graphical animation, laptops are the accurate device to decipher these kinds of software. To illustrate, I borrowed a science-fiction game called Last of Us from a shop near my apartment; I could not install it on my sister’s desktop computer. But I could install it like a piece of cake on my gaming laptop. I now play it after I come back home from the university. Thus, I can have unforgettable entertaining moments using my powerful laptop.

To conclude, I am a laptop fan of the explanations stated preceding. These devices are easy to carry, rapid, and appropriate for self-amusement purposes.
