Evaluate people based on cooperation or competition

In the modern era, evaluating individuals’ education or performance has become tricky. There are many ways to assess the quality of knowledge and skills people gain throughout their lives. Thus, the prompt suggests it is a superb option to focus on cooperation rather than competition governments hold. In my viewpoint, I’m afraid I mostly have to disagree with considering people’s education in teamwork for the following two reasons. However, I do concede that the significance of working with each other in a community is undeniable.

First, the whole educational system is based on competition from the beginning of school. People are being evaluated by scores and compared with their classmates or co-workers. Competition is an incentive to glean new materials; in other words, students are encouraged to participate in contests. For example, considering there was no score from A to F to evaluate students’ performance, how could they know in what position of knowledge classification they are? , or if they want to commensurate themselves with other classmates, what is the appropriate measure for it? So, we can comprehend the importance of competition for schools.

Second, in today’s industrial epoch, it is vital to evaluate employee performance by conducting annual examinations. For instance, one company in the mechanical engineering industry should carry out some tests to assail the knowledge of working with different equipment in the factory. The above encapsulates that if an organization does not conduct yearly exams, it will become trouble.

Although competition’s role is undoubtedly affluent, instilling cooperation is also beneficial. To illustrate, contemplate an engineering consulting company should finish a particular project with the assistance of different mechanical, electrical, and computer engineers. In this case, it is crucial to have terrific teamwork among these employees.

In conclusion, I cannot entirely agree that we should consider cooperation skill training instead of the competition-based system for the abovementioned explanations. People should be evaluated in a fun, challenging world.
